Diamond symmetry is one of the twenty major items in diamond performance. Diamond symmetry means when you look at a diamond facet from the top or the bottom, the corresponding facet opposite from it is the same size and angle. What�s important is that you have the right kind of diamond symmetry. Simply because a diamond displays a hearts and arrows pattern does not guarantee that it has the right kind of diamond symmetry.
